I vacillated on whether or not I should post this. I vacillated on whether or not I should post this.
I’ve worked hard to position myself as an expert in a very specific niche—Jewish music for young children and their families.
And this song? It’s not obviously Jewish.

But it is deeply aligned with everything I believe.
And honestly?
It came straight from trying to be solution focused dealing with the ache of being a co-parent.

I was talking to my therapist about the difficulties i experience of sharing custody—how different the parenting styles are in each home—and how limited my sphere of influence can feel.
I told my therapist: “I wish I could be in their heads, even when they’re away from me.”

And then I realized…
I actually have the skill set to do just that.

I can write a melody that sticks.
A message that stays with them.
A song that says:

🎶
I am loved, I’m loved a lot
My family can’t fit in one spot
I share my time—I have two homes.
I am loved in every way,
And no matter where I stay,
I am safe. I have two homes.

My grown-ups want what’s best for me,
Then rearranged our family.
I am safe, and I have two homes.
🎶

I wrote I Have Two Homes for my very own kiddos.
It might be a little outside the scope of what I usually share…
But it is right in alignment with the sacred work I feel called to do:
Helping families feel more connected, more grounded, and more whole—through music.

Maybe a child in your world needs this message, too.
I can’t wait to record it for my next album, coming this summer. 💛
