Raising Jew-ish Kids in America

L’dor vador! In every generation…we pass judgement, trauma, anxiety, and a diverse sprinkling gastrointestinal issues to one another. This presentation includes a historical overview of Jewish education. Of course- we favor discussing the more joyous hallmarks of Jewish life and living: committed communities, sacred rituals, divine stories, excellent brisket and more chanukah gifts than any one person ever needs. If we wish to engage young children in our communities- we must develop our abilities to support and serve the needs of their grown ups. By exploring common characteristics of millennials and elevating understanding and empathy across generations- the participants will emerge from the session equipped to deeply consider the needs typical of 21st century parents born in the 80’s or 90’s.
