Supporting the development of Jewish identities & communities.

Jewish education often emphasizes knowledge and practice while overlooking spiritual development, leaving educators unsure how to nurture meaning, wonder, and connection in age-appropriate ways. For many educators, questions about God, spirituality, and meaning feel difficult to name, discuss, or teach with confidence, especially across different ages and family backgrounds. This workshop explores spirituality as a core human capacity and a protective factor across the lifespan. Drawing on contemporary research and Jewish frameworks, participants examine how music, ritual, and relationship can nurture meaning, wonder, and connection from early childhood through adulthood.

Objectives:

  • Define spirituality and differentiate it from religious practice.
  • Describe research on spiritual development and well-being.
  • Identify practices that foster spiritual connection at different life stages.
  • Reflect on their own spiritual development and its influence on their work.

This workshop is available in person or remotely and is adapted to the audience, setting, and goals. Please email to discuss format, timing, and fit.
