Supporting the development of Jewish identities & communities.

Let's Make Music

A residency is not ‘just’ a concert. It is not a one-off visit. It is a partnership that begins before I arrive, deepens while I am on site making music with your community, and supported after I leave.

I work with early childhood centers, synagogues, JCCs, and camps to strengthen family engagement through music. Every residency is customized around your institution’s goals, your community’s needs, and the specific challenges your team is navigating. The result is programming your families will feel, staff development your educators will use, and a roadmap your leadership can sustain.

Discover

I start by listening. I talk with your leadership, learn about your community, and help identify the goals that will shape everything we do on site. That intentional preparation is what elevates the impact of the entire engagement.

Celebrate!

On site for two to four days, I lead programming with children, families, and educators -- experiences designed to draw people in and build connection. I model facilitation and engagement strategies your team can replicate, and help develop systems to sustain momentum.

Sustain

After the visit, I deliver a written report with reflections, analysis, and implications for your programming. Every residency includes an evaluation session and a follow-up reflection and impact meeting 8-12 weeks later.

Every residency is customized. Programming is mixed and matched based on discovery.

Egypt was toxic…Moses helped us out…Now we recline! The classic Exodus story is brought to life as children and families journey in 10 steps through movement and music.

What I Bring

25 years of practice across synagogues, JCCs, day schools, and camps. Doctoral research on the long-term impact of family engagement programs. A curriculum framework bridging child development, music pedagogy, and Jewish education.

I also maintain ongoing, year-round residencies with anchor client communities in South Florida, so the strategies I bring to your community are tested in real institutional settings every week. Longer-term residency partnerships are possible.

Let's Connect!

Every residency starts with a conversation.
