Meet your guide
I have spent 25 years leading songs with kiddos and their grown ups, and I know the late-night feeling well. I built Songleading for Kiddos because the educators I have worked alongside for all those years should have a place to turn, and people beside them.
I am a working Jewish music educator and musician with an Ed.D. in Jewish Education and original doctoral research on Tot Shabbat and family engagement. I have been an early childhood teacher and the children's musician families know as Miss Emily, featured by PJ Library, JKids Radio, Behrman House, and Transcontinental Music. I am on the faculty at Gratz College and an instructional designer at the University of Miami, and more than 80 of my original songs are in active use across the SFK community.
I am also the only doctoral-level researcher creating practitioner-facing Jewish music curriculum, which means everything here is 25 years of practice compressed into ready-to-use systems. I am a single mother of three in South Florida, and I'm here to help.
Pedagogy in your pocket, ready to teach tomorrow.
How it works
Pick the tier that fits where you are right now. Joining takes a few minutes.
Start with the Foundations series, then pull the unit you are teaching next. Explore hundreds of organized, searchable song demos.
Lead your session with confidence, and return next week for the next one.
What changes
Without a system, the planning hours keep stacking up, the second-guessing keeps creeping in, and the work stays lonely. It doesn't have to.
Sturdy structures do the heavy lifting, so a session comes together in minutes.
You know the why behind every song, and you let the structure do the work.
Song-anchored learning that turns into Jewish memories your kiddos carry for life.
Fellow Jewish music educators beside you, and coaching with me when you want it.
The only combination
SFK is the only program in Jewish education that brings all of these together in one place.
Doctoral researchThe only doctoral-level researcher creating practitioner-facing Jewish music curriculum.
Ongoing membershipThe only ongoing membership model providing continuous coaching and community.
One curriculum, four disciplinesThe only program bridging neuroscience, child development, spiritual formation, and Jewish tradition in one curriculum.
Purpose-built AIThe only AI-enhanced planning tool trained specifically on Jewish music, childhood development, and pedagogy.
A living libraryThe only curriculum library with 250+ vetted songs, including more than 80 original Dr. Emily songs in active member use, organized systematically by theme with full instructional support.
Inside the membership
A living curriculum you can search by what you are teaching this week, and pull what you need in seconds.
Take a tour of what's inside.
Every song in the library comes with a demo video. Type in the holiday or theme you're working on, and pull up the right song alongside a video of me leading it with kiddos, in seconds.
A personal welcome video, a faceted search bar that filters by holiday, age, learning focus, props, and engagement approach, and progress tracking that picks up right where you left off.
Vetted songs and videos organized across the Jewish year and the developmental year, including 80+ original Dr. Emily songs plus vetted recordings from Lisa Baydush, Paul Zim, Doug Cotler, and Jason Mesches.
Onboarding that grounds your practice: intention, developmentally appropriate practice, knowing your kiddos, and applied pedagogy you can use right away.
Songleader guides with structure analysis and teaching tips, slide decks ready to project, live classroom and synagogue demos with kiddos, and family connection blurbs for parent newsletters.
Office Hours every Monday at 4 PM ET and Group Coaching on the first Thursday of each month at 4 PM ET. Both are recorded and archived, so you never miss one.
Discussion spaces and a searchable Member Directory to connect with fellow Jewish music educators wherever they teach.
Trained on the SFK curriculum, the AI Session Planner helps you plan a session as you go. Tell it what's coming up, who you're working with, and how long you have.
It returns a copy-paste-ready plan with an experience arc, developmental benefits, linked media from the library, and a closing affirmation. It even gives you the transition language to pull everything together.

From the Squad
“Support Squad helps you not just to lead wonderful songs, but to use those songs to communicate big ideas about Judaism to children and families in a fun and engaging way.”
“This program helped me with essential skills such as repertoire building, program planning and finding new and creative ways to teach Jewish values and concepts to children and families. I receive compliments from families and educators alike on the content and variety of my sessions, and I have the Support Squad to thank for that.”
“As a result of my Support Squad membership, I have learned more about multiple ways to add props and movement to my Tot Shabbat and different entry points for the adults and children that attend. I feel more confident now.”
“The AI component has probably made the greatest difference because after researching my mind can keep spinning with ideas and get confused. It is great at a certain point to just stop and get a real plan quickly on paper. I also love that it can give me transition language to pull everything together.”
“I quickly learned that I was unintentionally asking my kiddos to perform activities they couldn't yet achieve. Now, I'm able to notice more of what these babies and toddlers can accomplish musically, and frankly, it's stunning and amazing.”
“It was song leader bootcamp in 90 minutes and more. I would recommend it to anyone interested in Jewish songleading because it delivers a strong, practical foundation and the tools to make an immediate impact.”

Professional development
A lot of members have their institution cover SFK as professional development, and I make that conversation easy with a ready-to-send script for your director or rabbi. Think of it as ongoing PD distributed across the year: a curriculum library, monthly live coaching, weekly office hours, and doctoral-level research applied to your population.
And if your institution doesn't cover it, the time you save on weekly planning recovers the cost in the first two weeks of any school year.
Not sure which tier?
If you're weighing the Harmony or Symphony tier, I'm happy to talk it through and help you find the right fit, for you, your kiddos, or your whole team.

I'm an educator who is also a working musician, with an Ed.D. and original doctoral research on Tot Shabbat. That combination is the heart of it: doctoral-level research, an ongoing membership with continuous coaching, a curriculum that bridges neuroscience, child development, spiritual formation, and Jewish tradition, a purpose-built AI planner, and a library of 250+ vetted songs with full instructional support. You will not find all of that together anywhere else.
That's exactly why it's built like a library you walk into when you need something. You don't have to consume it start to finish. Pull the unit you're teaching this week, teach it, and come back next week. The AI Session Planner gets you to a finished plan in minutes, so the platform gives you time back rather than taking it.
Kiddos ages 0 to 10 and their grown ups, across synagogues, JCCs, day schools, religious schools, and camps. The adult-learning pieces mean you grow as an educator right alongside the children.
Yes, and many do. SFK works beautifully as professional development distributed across the year, and I provide a ready-to-send script you can pass to your director or rabbi to make the ask simple.
Melody is the core membership with the full library, the AI Session Planner, weekly Office Hours, monthly Group Coaching, and community. Harmony adds 1:1 coaching with me for personalized support. Symphony is the institutional tier: whole-team access framed as professional development, plus strategic consulting, so one investment builds capacity across your whole school.
You are very welcome here. The 7-lesson Foundations series grounds you, and many members came in with experience in music or education but not Jewish music specifically. The songleader guides, demo videos, and weekly support are built to take you from wherever you are to leading with confidence.
Yes. Every membership comes with a 36-day no-risk money-back guarantee, so you can join, explore everything, and get a full refund within 36 days if it isn't the right fit. After that, you can manage or cancel whenever you need to, and if you ever have a question about your account, reach out and we'll take good care of you.
The full searchable library of 250+ vetted songs and videos across 21 thematic units, songleader guides and ready-to-project slide decks, the 7-lesson Foundations series, the AI Session Planner, weekly Office Hours and monthly Group Coaching, discussion spaces, and a searchable Member Directory.
